Frequently Asked Questions
It is recommended that you change the batteries every six months, for smoke detectors that are hard wired that changes to once per year. Try to combine it with another activity you do regularly so it is easier to remember, like spring clean up or with the time change.
If you think that your sink drain, shower/bath or toilet drains might be plugged, there are several companies that have the tools to clean out your drains. We suggest that you get a drain cleaning company first. If a clog or build up in the drains is not the issue, then we can come out and troubleshoot why you are having issues. We do not offer drain cleaning.
Check the plug for a reset button (many new receptacles have them), if that doesn't fix the issue then it's time to check the panel's breakers. Not all breakers are easy to detect visually if they have switched off.
If this is the case find the breaker you think is off, and move to fully off then fully on. Test your receptacle again. You might need to do this to a couple of breakers, if they are not labeled well enough. If your receptacle still seems to not work try to plug in a different item (like a hair dryer) just in case it is a faulty device, and not an issue with the receptacle or breaker. If none of those three things work, give us a call.
